Exiting New Event!

Bloggers -

There's an exciting new event at the Penguins Need Trees, Too book fair: a picnic to benefit the fight against Alzheimer's!

The cost to get in to the picnic will be minimal and donations are always accepted!

Enjoy a pre-made basket full of sandwiches, potato salad, drinks, a special treat and a blanket for you to decide where you'd like to eat! A section of the park will be sectioned off for this event.

For more information about the cause, check out Maggie's blog: fightforalzheimers.blogspot.com

We look forward to seeing you all out on the grass! :)

No Pulitzer for Fiction in 2012?

Readers:

I don't know if you have heard yet, but for 2012 there was not a winner of the Pulitzer Prize. Why, you ask?

What I heard on news radio this morning was that it was because the judges were torn between three novels and couldn't decide on one, therefore not rewarding anyone.

For more information, you can click here for an article from the New York Times: artsbeat.blog.newyorktimes.com

What are your thoughts on this?
